Join our Management Committee - Become a Trustee

We are looking for new trustees to join our board to help support the work of the Playhouse.
The Board and Management Team work together to deliver the aims and objectives of the Playhouse and ensure effective governance of the charity.  
The Board meets once a month, either via Zoom or in person (adhering to current COVID measures). to discuss the activities and plans at the Playhouse.  If you have skills and experiences in areas such as HR, finance, fundraising, charity governance or childcare we would love to hear from you.

SEN 121 Support workers - required ASAP
We are looking to recruit a number of 1:1 support workers to support children in both our nursery and preschool rooms, for the duration of this academic year. You will be working 1:1 with the child supporting them with their daily routine and assisting them with activities, utilising all of our activity areas including the playground and woodland area. 
The ideal candidates will be conscientious and nurturing able to support and to assist with learning and development, with experience of working with children with SEND.  Our aim is to enable confidence in their learning, language and ensuring they achieve to their highest ability in a safe and supported environment.  
• Level 2/3 qualified 
• Confident in providing support to children 1:1 and in small groups 
• Confident with the EYFS curriculum 
• Previous experience of supporting children with SEN 
Various part time roles available – subject to funding. Immediate start needed for 15 hours a week (3hrs per day) and up to 30 hours a week.
Interviews will be conducted on a continuous basis, upon receipt of suitable applications.

No two days are the same at the Playhouse, so if you have childcare experience, enjoy a challenge and can offer flexibility to help support us in providing the best in childcare - often at short notice, we would love to hear from you! All roles at the Playhouse are subject to satisfactory DBS check.
