HomeWelcome To The PlayhouseLocated in Greenbank, Bristol Children's Playhouse is a charity which provides a supportive and stimulating environment for the whole family. Unique to the area it offers a family 'Drop-in' facility open Monday to Friday and a Pre-school. The Pre-School and Drop-in are housed in separate buildings but share the wonderful outdoor play area which has recently been updated with new toys and equipment.
Open since 1979 Bristol Children's Playhouse is a well used and essential part of the community. Our aim is to safeguard and promote the welfare of children in need within the family and provide quality pre-school education allowing children to gain positive experiences which will improve their confidence and self-esteem. We work against the isolation, depravation and poverty of families and disadvantaged people within the community.

The PreschoolWorking with Parents/Carers to provide an inclusive pre-school Nursery encouraging learning through play, positive self image and respect. Qualified, experienced staff provide 3 & 4 year olds with 15 hours a week free entitlement with Nursery Education Grant during term time following the Early Years Foundation Stage
. Additional hours can be paid for if available. |
The Family Drop-InWe provide an open access family centre offering enriching, fun play opportunities for children and support to Parent/Carers which reflect cultural diversity.
Opening Times Open Monday - Friday 9.30am - 1.00pm (Term time only) Cost £1.00 per family per day. |
