2 cups of Flour 4 tsp. Cream of Tartar 1 Cup of Salt 1 ½ - 2 cups of Boiling Water 3 –4 tblsp. Veg Oil A few drops of Food Colouring. Put all ingredients into a bowl and mix well. When thoroughly mixed in remove and kneed together. Keep in an air tight container. |

Grab a box, sheet or blanket and make a den to play in! Water Play See what floats and what sinks! You can use fruit and veg, stones and shells as well as other items from around the house. Dressing Up Time Try on silly hats, shoes, scarfs and even shoes! Get Creative Draw or paint cards or pictures for friends or family or just for fun! Get Cooking Bake a cake or some biscuits or just get your child to help make the dinner! Treasure Hunt Draw simple clues on paper that leads your child around the house to a pot of gold...or maybe just a small treat instead! Play Robots Great for numeracy and learning coordination. Turn yourself into a robot and ask to be directed from one room to the next. Then it's your turn!
