We are rated as GOOD provider by Ofsted.
Our most recent inspection took place in February 2023. Here are a few comments from the report and the full report can be read on the link below:-
- Staff concentrate on developing positive, secure relationships with children and supporting their well-being
- The management team and staff implement an ambitious curriculum with a clear and consistent approach. Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) receive strong support.
- Children make good progress in all areas of the early years foundation stage, and any gaps in children's learning and development close quickly.
- All children learn about key festivals of the various cultures of the staff and children who attend the nursery. They benefit from this rich and varied environment, which promotes diversity and provides them with new encounters
- The manager has a continual drive for improvement and strives for all children to develop a love of learning, both indoors and outdoors. Children show high levels of independence and curiosity in their play

The experienced committed staff are absolutely amazing going above and beyond to nurture the children in their care and support parents. The environment inside is warm and stimulating outside the play garden and woodland garden offer the children unique outdoor opportunities. Its just brilliant!
I thought it was great when my 11 year old went 7 years ago and better when my 9 year old was there 5 years ago and it has just built on strong foundations .. it was better than ever when my 4 year old went to school this year and he was so well prepared after his two years at the playhouse thank-you, I can't recommend the playhouse enough it's wonderful!"

My little boy absolutely flourished there and it was a joy to see him supported by kind and caring staff who enabled to him to explore, play, create and have fun. There is a loving and supportive atmosphere where the children are encouraged to be independent in a safe environment. The activities are fantastic and the woodland area such a great asset and so brilliant for the children to explore."
