Forest School
As part of the Bristol Children’s Playhouse we run Forest School sessions on Tuesday mornings and Friday afternoons. These are run by Georgia Davis our level three Forest School practitioner.
Robins attend Tuesday morning and may attend Friday afternoons.
Magpies attend on a Tuesday in alternating groups and all attend on a Friday afternoon.
Forest school is widely used throughout the country and beyond. It is very hands on and helps support children with their development and the learning. Children will be given time and space to explore the natural world with some adult led activities for instance mini beast hunts, den building, nature arts, games, there will be some opportunity for 1:1 tool use we will also have a fire at some sessions.
