How you can help?

The Playhouse employs 7 members of staff to run the Pre-school and the Drop-in but is also dependent on volunteers to help with the day-to day running of The Playhouse and with fundraising events.

The Management Committee

The Management Committee meets regularly to discuss developments at The Playhouse and help make decisions about its future. The Management Committee really needs new members to help make a difference to the future of the playhouse.

Current Management Committee Members are:

Jo Tompsett (Chairperson)
Clare Peat (Vice Chair)
Gill Munday (Secretary)
Leise Stephenson (Treasurer)  Millie Feldman, Mandy Horlock, Rhian Davis, Sarah Ducker, Stacey Foote, Walter Nunez and Susana Llenas.  Our Patron is Baroness Jean Corston.

If you join the Management Committee you will need to register as a Director with Companies House and need to be CRB checked.

If you think you would like to join the Management Committee then please ask a member of staff for more information and an application form. You will then need to be proposed at the next AGM.

Fundraising

We are always looking for volunteers to organise and help at fundraising events such as Easter Fairs, Cake Sales or to organise other fundraising events in the community. If you would like to help please speak to a member of staff or a member of the Management Committee.
