About Bristol Children's Playhouse
Located in Greenbank, Bristol Children's Playhouse provides a supportive and stimulating environment for the whole family. Unique to the area it offers a family 'Drop-in' facility open Monday to Thursday and a Pre-school. The Pre-School and Drop-in are housed in separate buildings but share the wonderful outdoor play area which has recently been updated with new toys and equipment.
Our aim is to safeguard and promote the welfare of children in need within the family and provide quality pre-school education allowing children to gain positive experiences which will improve their confidence and self-esteem. We work against the isolation, depravation and poverty of families and disadvantaged people within the community.
Open since 1979 Bristol Children's Playhouse is well used and an essential part of the community. Unfortunately, this year our core funding has been withdrawn and there is a risk Bristol Children's Playhouse could close. Please visit the 'Save the Playhouse' page to see what you can do to help.
Opening times (Term Time)
Family drop in centre: Mon-Thurs 9 - 3.00pm from January 2010.
Nursery: Mon - Thurs & Fri 9.00am - 11.30 Tues & Wed 9.00 - 1pm Wraparound
